This song is extra special for us. It's dedicated to the memory of a good friend, Susan Burgert, and proceeds will go to the cancer survivorship program she helped create. We set pricing as "pay what you want," so give accordingly. If you are in crisis or struggling and don't have it in you to pay for one more thing right now, please download the song, it's on us. If you can give, it will make a difference in the lives of everyone affected by gynecological cancers. Please do read the back story here http://www.beggarsride.com/just-one-step.

Beggar's Ride

Beggar's Ride

Beggar's Ride, the self-titled debut album from the Baltimore based duo was tracked and mixed at the venerable Signature Sounds studio in Pomfret, CT. Working with producer David Goodrich (Chris Smither, Peter Mulvey, Jeffrey Foucault, Red Bird) and chief engineer Mark Thayer, they set out to record an intimate, moody album featuring the interplay between their tight harmonies and lush electric and acoustic guitar textures. The album features 10 songs, all originals by SanSoucie and Maguire with the exception of the brilliant David Olney tune “Women Across the River.”
