Harmony for Humanity at the Lizard Lounge

Just a quick follow up on the Harmony for Humanity show October 10th at the Lizard Lounge in Cambridge, MA. What a great night! Tony Savarino and the Savtones were just a killer house band, and all of the performers picked great tunes and were right on the money with their performances. The format of the show was to have everyone pick 2 or 3 cover songs to do and perform them with the house band. It was a real treat for us to front such a great band, and to enjoy a night of music with some awesome people.

I think the surprise treat for us was getting to see Mia Dyson for the first time. We had never heard of her before, but she’s been making great music for a long time. And she killed it. She and Susan Cattaneo did a really smoking version of Willin’ by Little Feat. Check her out- she has a new album that we really love.

By the way, I do realize how much I used “great” in this post. :)
